Hi all,
I am using (CVS) 1.11.22, Executing this command crashes,
cvs -d :pserver:***@tuxpaint.cvs.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/
tuxpaint history -T -D -f tuxpaint/Attic/Makefile-i18n|grep No
records selected|wc -w
ERROR OSCommandLogger 2009-12-06 15:38:45 : [ErrorStream]*** glibc
detected *** cvs: free(): invalid pointer: 0x09dd5c88 ***

Our application uses this command to compute some statistics on CVS
repository.I have two linux boxes and on both these CVS is installed I
am hitting the same error even with the latest version of CVS? Can
somebody explain what should be the issue? Is there any work around
available?

Thanks,
Rahul

You need a date after -D, but that should get you an error message, not
a crash. What exactly does ``cvs version'' say?

Also, do you get the same result if you leave off the "grep" and the
"wc"? Just want to make sure the pipe isn't affecting anything.
