hi CVS gurus

I seems that several of us (offline discussions) are bug-annoyed with this
CVS error http://savannah.nongnu.org/bugs/?23370 which I reported earlier.

Can I get some help with
a) getting the the latest the greatest source code - I take it that you
prefer patches against the version you use.
b) point out roughly where the problems come in - then I will start to
hack when I have som cycles to spare...

See the "Source Code" link on Savannah:

The problem is that watches were hacked in without sufficient
forethought or design. My guess is that you'll need to completely
redesign the facility, while maintaining upward compatibility with the
existing facility.
