Problem with Committing data

We're using cvs with eclipse to synchronize our project. I'm able to update
but for a weird reason I can't commit anymore. If I try to synchronize them
manually I can get the information from my local code to the server side but
not the other way around. The respective buttons are greyed out on the
eclipse window. Additionally, it worked a week ago and I can't find a reason
how the options could have changed since I did not do anything (I can think
of).

Somewhere I read that it's possible to lock files but I've no idea where I
could have done this.

I'd be grateful for any kind of help and advice

There are probably some folks here who use eclipse, but as this (to me) sounds
like a eclipse GUI issue more than a CVS problem, you will probably get more
help in the eclipse list.

Please respond back to info-cvs, when you get an answer so we all know what
the solution was.

The problem spread in our group. Must have been a glitch in the code.
Unfortunately we couldn't find the actual source. We set up another cvs on
another server (not Linux this time) and until now it's working just fine.
If the problem returns I'll tend to the mailing list.

Thanks for the link.
