Dear Team,

Greetings!

Please advise as I am not able to proceed further.

Details:
I have CVS server stored repository with filename.<file extension>,v
Unfortunately I don't have the server installed

Please help me out in reading the file and deleting the extension ,v and
version history from each file.

You don't need the server, all you need is a local standalone CVS: You can set $CVSROOT to your repository and either checkout or export the files. You can also read the repository files with RCS.
